Huansu was a budget sub-brand of BAIC, launched in the mid-2010s and built by BAIC Yinxiang, a Chongqing joint venture with a local motorcycle and parts group. Under the Beiqi Huansu badge it offered small SUVs such as the S2 and S6 alongside the S3 seven-seater and the H2 and H3 people carriers. It targeted buyers in smaller Chinese cities, and production wound down around 2020, so the examples that turn up in the UAE are uncommon imports.

With the maker gone, there is no official source for battery specifications, and parts listings online often confuse Huansu models with other BAIC cars. The safest reference is what the car left the factory with, if the original battery is still fitted, or at least the dimensions of the tray and which side the positive post sits. We confirm both before choosing a replacement.
Huansu models were aimed at cost-conscious buyers, and their batteries were sized for small petrol engines rather than for heavy accessory use. That leaves little margin once a few UAE summers have aged the plates. Where the tray allows it and the alternator can keep up, we may suggest a unit with a little more capacity in the same case size.
