Evolute is a Russian electric-car brand launched in 2022 and assembled in the Lipetsk region from vehicles developed by Dongfeng in China. The first model, the i-PRO saloon, is based on a Dongfeng electric sedan, and the line-up has since grown to several SUVs and other body styles. Cars reaching the UAE are rare personal imports, and our part is limited to the low-voltage side: the 12V battery that lets the car unlock, power up and connect its drive battery.

In most EVs, the 12V battery is recharged by a DC-DC converter only while the car is switched on or charging. An Evolute left untouched for weeks, perhaps while its owner is away for the summer, can drain that small battery until the doors no longer respond to the key. If you plan a long absence, have the 12V battery tested first and ask someone to wake the car occasionally.

Not necessarily. A flat 12V battery stops the car waking up even when the drive battery is well charged. We test the 12V unit first and replace it on site if it has failed.
No. We only work on the 12V auxiliary battery. The high-voltage pack needs an EV specialist with the right equipment and training.
