Rivian is an American electric-vehicle maker whose R1T pickup and R1S SUV reach the UAE as private imports rather than through a local network. Both are fully electric, yet they still depend on a low-voltage system to wake up, unlock and close the contactors to the main pack. When that system weakens, a Rivian with plenty of range can appear completely dead. That is the fault we can diagnose where the car is parked.

From the battery guide
With no official Rivian service here, owners often rely on independent help for routine items. The low-voltage battery specification can vary by build period, so we ask for a photo of the existing unit and its label before setting off. If the fitted battery is a type we cannot match, we will tell you plainly rather than fit something unsuitable.

A Rivian keeps cameras, sensors and connectivity running when parked, and cabin and battery cooling may run in a UAE summer. That background demand, combined with heat, ages a low-voltage battery faster than a quiet petrol car would. Warnings about the 12V system should be acted on quickly, before the vehicle refuses to wake up.

No. We only deal with the low-voltage battery that powers the electronics. The high-voltage pack is outside what we do and must go to a qualified EV specialist.
It is better not to wait. These warnings often precede a car that will not wake or unlock. Book a test so the battery can be checked while the vehicle still responds.
