Venucia E30 battery replacement

Electric hatch developed from Leaf technology; 12V auxiliary battery replacement only.

The e30, D60EV and T60EV are electric, and V-Online DD-i models add a hybrid system. All of them depend on a 12V auxiliary battery to power up. If it fails, the car may not start even with a charged traction battery. We replace the 12V battery only and leave high-voltage work to specialists.

Choosing the battery for a E30

We start with the build year and engine, then read the fitted battery label. The technician checks battery technology, amp-hour rating, case dimensions, hold-down and terminal side. A battery with the right voltage but the wrong case or terminal layout is not a sound fit.

The old battery is tested before removal and the charging system is checked after fitting. If the car needs a battery-management reset or registration, the technician explains the requirement for that version before the work is closed.

About Venucia batteries

Venucia was launched by the Dongfeng Nissan joint venture in China, and its early cars were built on Nissan engineering: the D50 and R50 drew on the Tiida, the T70 on Nissan's compact SUV platform, and the e30 electric hatch on the Leaf. Newer models such as the V-Online and VX6 moved towards Dongfeng's own designs. In the UAE they are uncommon imports, and the Nissan link is often the key to finding the right battery.
