Weichai U70 battery replacement

Late SUV sold under the Weichai name; little published data, so the fitted battery is measured on site.

The U70 comes from the end of Weichai's passenger-car effort, and very few exist outside China. Information on it is scarce, so we treat each one individually: measuring the tray, checking the terminal layout and confirming charging voltage with the engine running after fitting. If no matching size is available locally, we tell you when you book rather than improvise on the day.

Fitment check

Choosing the battery for a U70

We start with the build year and engine, then read the fitted battery label. The technician checks battery technology, amp-hour rating, case dimensions, hold-down and terminal side. A battery with the right voltage but the wrong case or terminal layout is not a sound fit.

The old battery is tested before removal and the charging system is checked after fitting. If the car needs a battery-management reset or registration, the technician explains the requirement for that version before the work is closed.

Send these details when booking

01 Model year and engine or drivetrain.
02 A clear photo of the fitted battery label.
03 Any start-stop or low-voltage warning shown on the dashboard.
04 Where the vehicle is parked for mobile service.

About Weichai batteries

Most people in the UAE know Weichai from the diesel engines inside trucks, buses, generators and boats, not from cars. The Shandong group did build passenger vehicles for a few years, first under the Enranger name, and some models, including the U70 SUV listed around 2020, carry the Weichai name itself. They are rare here and arrived as individual imports. This page covers the 12V starter battery in those cars; a Weichai-powered truck or generator set is a different job.

Questions, answered.

The model name alone is not enough to select a safe fit. We check the build year, engine, battery label, case size and terminal position at the vehicle.

Yes. Our mobile technician tests the battery and charging system, confirms the replacement against your U70, and fits it where the car is parked in our covered UAE areas.
