Wuling is the brand of SAIC-GM-Wuling, a Chinese joint venture that builds some of the world's most widely used small vans and mini trucks, alongside SUVs such as the Almaz and Cortez and tiny electric cars like the Hongguang Mini EV. Several Wuling designs have been sold in the Gulf under Chevrolet badges, notably the N300-series vans related to the Rongguang. Rongguang, Sunshine and similar Wuling commercial vehicles do short hops all day with frequent restarts, doors opening and the air conditioning working hard. That pattern keeps the battery partly charged and wears it faster than private use. For fleets, testing at each service and replacing on a schedule prevents vans standing idle.
Many Wuling vans and mini trucks mount their engine beneath the front seats, and battery placement follows that compact layout rather than a conventional bonnet. The technician knows how to reach it safely. Sending the model and a photo of the battery position helps us prepare the right tools and unit.
The Almaz and Cortez are more conventional petrol SUVs and MPVs with standard batteries. Electric models such as the Hongguang Mini EV and Air EV rely on a 12V battery to power up. We replace the 12V battery only.
