Choosing the battery for a SU7 Ultra

We start with the build year and engine, then read the fitted battery label. The technician checks battery technology, amp-hour rating, case dimensions, hold-down and terminal side. A battery with the right voltage but the wrong case or terminal layout is not a sound fit.

The old battery is tested before removal and the charging system is checked after fitting. If the car needs a battery-management reset or registration, the technician explains the requirement for that version before the work is closed.

About Xiaomi batteries

Xiaomi, better known for smartphones, entered the car business in 2024 with the SU7, an electric sports sedan, followed by the high-performance SU7 Ultra. Cars in the UAE are private imports, and like any EV they carry a 12V auxiliary battery that powers the screens, locks and control units and connects the high-voltage pack. When that small battery weakens, the car may not wake, which is the fault we can address on site.
