Aixam is a French maker from the Alps region that builds more licence-free microcars than almost anyone in Europe, alongside small utility trucks used by councils, campsites and farms. In the UAE they are rare and nearly always privately imported, most often for use inside resorts, estates or large private compounds. Most fuel-powered Aixams use a small two-cylinder diesel, typically a Kubota unit, and a diesel of any size still has to turn over against high compression. A battery that has lost capacity in the heat often shows it as a slow, laboured start well before it fails outright. If the engine turns more slowly than usual on the first start of the day, a load test tells us whether the battery or the starter is to blame.
The D-Truck and E-Truck are small load carriers, and on an estate or campsite they tend to make many short hops with lights and accessories in use. A diesel D-Truck that never runs long enough to recover after each start will slowly run its battery down. On the electric E-Truck and E-Scouty, the 12V battery runs the controls and lights while the traction pack moves the vehicle; we look after the 12V side and leave the drive pack alone.
On quadricycles the battery is not always under the bonnet; depending on the model it can sit under a seat or behind an interior panel. If you already know where it is, tell us, and clear the space around it before the technician arrives. That saves time and, on these vehicles with lightweight body panels, avoids removing trim that does not need to come off.

Fit a small mains or solar maintainer for the months it stands unused. A compact battery left alone through a UAE summer can go flat, and each deep discharge takes something off its remaining life.
