The BJ40 and BJ80 are body-on-frame four-wheel drives, and owners often add light bars, compressors and camping fridges. Each accessory draws on the same battery, and a desert weekend with the engine off at camp can drain it hard. If your BJ carries extra equipment, mention it when booking so the technician brings a unit with enough reserve rather than the smallest that fits.

The X35, X55 and X7 are compact and mid-size crossovers with small turbocharged petrol engines.
