Several generations of the Continental GT and Flying Spur use a twin-battery arrangement, with one battery dedicated to starting and another supplying the rest of the car. When one fails, the car can behave oddly rather than simply refusing to start. Tell us your model and year, and if there are two batteries the technician will test both and replace what is needed.
On many Bentleys the batteries sit in the boot, beneath carpeted panels and trim that owners understandably want left unmarked. The technician lays protective covers, removes the panels in order and refits them afterwards. Please make the boot accessible before we arrive.
A Bentley that is driven twice a week and parked in between is losing charge to its security and comfort systems on the days it stands.
