Some Bugattis leave the factory with lightweight lithium-ion starter batteries, while others use AGM. The two need different charging behaviour, and swapping one for the other without confirming the car supports it is a risk not worth taking on a car of this value. We match the chemistry shown on the fitted battery; if a factory-specific part is required, we will say so honestly.

A battery allowed to fall flat, particularly a lithium unit, can be damaged beyond recovery. Keeping the car on the correct maintainer is standard practice for owners, and we can test the battery's condition on site before an important drive.
