Ferrari supplies most of its cars with a battery maintainer and a charging socket for exactly this reason. Owners who leave it connected whenever the car is parked for more than a few days see far fewer flat batteries. If yours has gone missing, replace it; a deeply discharged AGM battery that sits flat through a UAE summer is often finished and will not recover on a charger.
Ferrari fits AGM batteries across most of its range, while some track-focused versions leave the factory with, or were optioned with, a lightweight lithium 12V battery. The two are not interchangeable: they charge differently and the car's electronics expect one or the other. Send a photo of the existing battery label before booking so the technician brings the correct type, or tells you honestly if it is dealer-only.
The SF90 Stradale, SF90 Spider, 296 GTB and 296 GTS pair a petrol engine with a high-voltage battery, but a separate 12V battery still powers start-up, locks and the control units. When that 12V battery is weak the car may refuse to enter drive mode even though the hybrid battery is charged. We replace the 12V battery only and never touch the high-voltage system.
