The H6 HEV and Jolion HEV run a high-voltage hybrid battery for their electric drive, yet the car still needs a conventional 12V battery to wake its computers and engage the hybrid system. Choosing the battery for a Jolion

We start with the build year and engine, then read the fitted battery label. The technician checks battery technology, amp-hour rating, case dimensions, hold-down and terminal side. A battery with the right voltage but the wrong case or terminal layout is not a sound fit.

The old battery is tested before removal and the charging system is checked after fitting. If the car needs a battery-management reset or registration, the technician explains the requirement for that version before the work is closed.
