Alarm, tracking, keyless entry and control modules keep drawing current while the car sits. Leave a Huracan untouched for a few weeks in summer and the battery can drop too low to start, and every deep discharge takes permanent capacity away. Lamborghini supplies a battery maintainer for this reason; plugging it in whenever the car is parked for more than a week or so is the cheapest battery insurance there is.
Some lightweight or track-focused versions left the factory with a lithium starter battery instead of AGM. The two charge differently, and the car's charging strategy is set for one of them. Check the label on the existing battery before ordering. We supply AGM replacements; if your car has a lithium unit, the technician will say so plainly rather than fit something that does not belong.
The Urus shares its underpinnings with other Volkswagen Group luxury SUVs and has a battery-management system that expects the new battery's details to be registered. The hybrid Revuelto, Temerario and Urus SE still rely on a 12V battery to wake their systems. We replace the 12V battery itself; registration and anything on the high-voltage side belong with the dealer.
