A Maxus van or MPV in company service may start dozens of times a day, idle while it is loaded, and run its air conditioning hard between stops. That pattern keeps the battery partly charged most of the time, which in UAE heat shortens its life considerably. Scheduled battery tests across a fleet catch weak units before they cause a no-start at 6am.
The T60 pickup and the D90 are ladder-frame vehicles that often do double duty, work in the week and desert trips at the weekend. Owners add spotlights, compressors and fridges. The D60 and newer SUVs are more car-like, with screens and driver aids that draw current. In each case, match or exceed the original capacity; a smaller battery saves little and costs a breakdown.
The Mifa 9 electric MPV, eDeliver vans and electric pickups carry a 12V battery that wakes the vehicle and runs its low-voltage systems. A failing 12V battery can leave a fully charged EV unable to start. We test and replace that battery; the high-voltage pack stays with the dealer.
