Choosing the battery for a Milan

We start with the build year and engine, then read the fitted battery label. The technician checks battery technology, amp-hour rating, case dimensions, hold-down and terminal side. A battery with the right voltage but the wrong case or terminal layout is not a sound fit.

About Mercury batteries

Mercury was Ford's mid-level brand from 1938 until it was closed in 2011, and in the Gulf its name is almost synonymous with one car: the Grand Marquis.
