A classic Road Runner or Fury with a large V8 needs strong cranking current, especially when hot, since a heat-soaked big-block is harder to turn over. Match or exceed the original capacity, and make sure the cables are heavy enough and the earth strap to the engine is sound. Many 'battery problems' on these cars turn out to be thin or corroded cables.

The Prowler has almost no room under its long, narrow bonnet, so Chrysler put the battery in the boot. Owners who have not needed to replace it before often go looking in the engine bay. The technician will need access to the boot area, and because Prowlers are usually driven occasionally, a maintainer between outings will keep the new battery healthy much longer.
A classic kept in a hot garage through the summer loses charge steadily, and a battery left flat for weeks rarely recovers fully. Disconnecting the battery or fitting a maintainer before long storage is the cheapest way to avoid buying a new one every season.
