Most RZRs and Generals here sit from late spring until the dune season returns. A small powersports battery left connected in a hot garage or trailer for months will usually be flat, and often permanently damaged, by October. Disconnecting it or fitting a maintainer before storage saves the battery. If it is already dead, the technician can test it and replace it before your first trip.
UAE RZR owners love accessories: LED light bars, rock lights, winches and powerful sound systems. Every one of those draws on a battery designed mainly to start the engine. Heavy accessory use while the engine is off drains it fast, and constant pounding over dunes loosens terminals and shakes plates. A firmly secured battery, tight terminals and, for big sound systems, a properly installed secondary battery are worth considering.
