Holden roots: GTO and G8
The modern GTO is a Holden Monaro, and the G8 is a Holden Commodore, the same family as the Chevrolet Lumina and Caprice sold in the Gulf. That shared engineering makes parts easier to find here. On the GTO, the V8 fills the engine bay and the battery sits in the boot instead, which surprises owners looking under the bonnet. The G8 follows Commodore practice, so a local Lumina fitment is a useful reference.
