A Swift or Celerio engine starts easily, which lets Suzuki fit modest batteries. In summer, though, a car that sits all day in an open car park with a dashcam or tracker connected can drain one of these small units quickly. Slow starts after a hot afternoon are the usual warning; we can test and replace on the spot.

Some recent Suzukis, including versions of the Grand Vitara, Ertiga and others, use a smart hybrid system with a small lithium-ion pack alongside a conventional 12V battery. Start-stop versions may require an EFB battery. We replace the 12V battery; the hybrid pack is dealer work. Check the label to confirm the type.
Jimny owners take their cars into dunes and wadis, where vibration and dust test the battery and its hold-down. Winches and light bars add load. If you have added accessories, tell us so we can recommend a battery with higher reserve in the correct size.
Carry, Super Carry and APV vans on delivery routes restart dozens of times a day. That duty cycle wears batteries out faster than private use. A test at each service helps avoid being stranded mid-route.
