Wey Latte battery replacement

Hybrid SUV; if it will not enter ready mode, test the 12V battery first.

The Mocca, Latte, Macchiato and Coffee 01 use hybrid systems with high-voltage batteries, but they still need a 12V battery to wake up and close the circuit to the drive battery. A flat 12V battery can leave the car unresponsive. We replace the 12V battery; high-voltage components remain dealer work.

Choosing the battery for a Latte

We start with the build year and engine, then read the fitted battery label. The technician checks battery technology, amp-hour rating, case dimensions, hold-down and terminal side. A battery with the right voltage but the wrong case or terminal layout is not a sound fit.

The old battery is tested before removal and the charging system is checked after fitting. If the car needs a battery-management reset or registration, the technician explains the requirement for that version before the work is closed.
