GAC Honda builds Hondas in Guangzhou, and alongside the Accord, Fit and Odyssey it has produced several models found only in China. The Avancier is a large five-seat SUV, the Crider a compact saloon aimed at Chinese families, and the Breeze is GAC Honda's version of the CR-V, which Honda's other partner, Dongfeng, sells under its own name. When one of these turns up in the UAE, local Honda parts listings are of little help, so we work from the car's details and the battery it carries.

Honda splits its Chinese range between GAC and Dongfeng, and many models come in pairs: the GAC Breeze mirrors the Dongfeng CR-V, and the GAC Vezel mirrors the Dongfeng XR-V. Batteries are usually shared within each pair, yet trim and year still matter. Knowing which version you own lets us check the right reference before we set off.
China-market Hondas such as the Crider and Avancier may use battery sizes that are common in Japan and China but less so on UAE shelves. Squeezing in whatever fits the tray risks a loose hold-down, a stretched cable or a short life in the heat. We read the size code and terminal position off the fitted unit and bring that exact format.
The VE-1, sold under Honda's Everus name in China, is an electric SUV developed with GAC. It has no engine to start, but it still relies on a 12V battery to power its control units and close the high-voltage circuit. If the car will not switch on, that small battery is the first check. We replace it on site and leave the traction battery alone.

Mechanically, yes. The Breeze is GAC Honda's version of the CR-V with its own styling. Battery needs are usually the same, though we confirm from the year and the unit fitted.
It uses a 12V auxiliary battery to run its electronics rather than to crank an engine. We match it from the fitted unit and replace only that battery, never the high-voltage pack.
