Volga sedans that sit for months
Most Volgas here are kept by collectors or by owners who brought them from home, and they may go weeks without turning a wheel. A parked car still draws a small current for its clock and alarm, and in a hot garage that slow drain deepens quickly. Once a lead-acid battery has been left completely flat a few times, it never recovers its full capacity. A battery isolator switch or a smart maintainer is a cheap way to protect a new one.
