Work trucks start more often than you think
A pickup on maintenance or landscaping jobs may start and stop at a dozen sites a day, with the engine idling between stops so the cab stays cool. Each start takes charge the short drive that follows cannot fully replace. Over a summer the battery slips further behind until one morning it fails. Replacing at the first slow crank costs less than a lost working day.
