Choosing the battery for a Range Rover Velar

We start with the build year and engine, then read the fitted battery label. The technician checks battery technology, amp-hour rating, case dimensions, hold-down and terminal side. A battery with the right voltage but the wrong case or terminal layout is not a sound fit.

About Range Rover batteries

The full-size Range Rover has the greatest electrical load and typically needs a larger AGM unit than an Evoque. Sport, Velar and Evoque add different start-stop and mild-hybrid systems according to year.
